project 52 :: from the lake

I am just getting back from an amazing, inspiring, creative weekend with some of my best photographer buddies from all across the United States. We worked hard all weekend long, fitting in two maternity sessions (two of the gals are each expecting their third baby!), a newborn session, and countless hours sharing secrets in all areas of business. But we did get some down time too, to just chill and enjoy our time away… Sunday night we took the boat out on the lake as the sun was setting and the light was absolutely divine.

I captured this shot on the dock. I am completely captivated by lens flare these days, this one is extra dreamy. I’ll be posting more photos from the weekend as I get a chance to process through them. Happy Wednesday!
