I just secured my membership in the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) trade group, a non-profit association for professional photographers. You can see my portfolio here or by typing in Gwendolyn Waite on the Find a Photographer page.

And because I simply can’t post without a photo, here’s one of my own wee ones (I’ve got three!), taken last week.

I had the most wonderful session with “D” at the Union Depot. She loves ice skating, and wanted to take her photos at an indoor rink with tons of natural light. Great choice! She had a blast skating – you can see how much she loves it. This was two days before she got her new braces – her mom really wanted some photos of her “pre-metal”. She is such a beautiful girl with a gorgeous smile – we had such a good time together. After skating, we went over to the coffee shop for some hot chocolate. Perfect for a chilly Minnesota day!

I’m so excited to launch my new blog for gwendolyn waite photography! I’m a custom portrait photographer for newborns, babies and kids in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. I live in St. Paul but also shoot in Minneapolis and the surrounding areas. I work exclusively on location using natural light, producing fun, fresh, modern candid photos.
