garden wedding :: minnesota wedding photographer

Few things in life are more beautiful than a backyard garden wedding, and this was no exception. Meet Amy and Tom. Amy is my step-sister, and I was *so* honored that she asked me to take her wedding photos. Their backyard was just stunning – they live on a lake, the absolute perfect setting for a summer wedding.

Except…

It was about 47 degrees below zero.

well… maybe not quite. but it sure felt like it.
raining and cold. to the bone.

But Amy and Tom weren’t going to let the crummy weather ruin their day. The ceremony went on as planned, although with a few added umbrellas! I must say, the umbrella shots are among my *very* favorites…

Thank you so much Amy and Tom for letting me share in your beautiful day. I wish you all the best in your new life together!

Feel free to leave them some love in the comment box below!
