smarties

November 6th, 2008

Ok, can this little girl be any cuter? Seriously. She was ever so receptive to my bribes for photos. Smarties work wonders, you know. The black ones. And the pink ones too. Oh wait, there are no black Smarties? Well, don’t tell her!

And look at this momma and her beautiful bump. They’re expecting number two in a couple weeks. She absolutely glowed. Gorgeous. I met them at their beautiful house in Minneapolis to take photos - I can’t wait to come back and meet their new little babe in a few weeks!

holiday dates to keep in mind

November 1st, 2008

Everyone have a good Halloween? We sure did. Elliott is our little Halloween baby - he turned one yesterday! Happy birthday little man! The kids came home with some serious candy last night. I’m talking major poundage. And we didn’t even go that far - up two blocks and then back down. I guess people were being overly generous since there seemed to be a lack of trick-or-treaters. The worst part? I can’t even pilfer their candy, since chocolate is a no-no for me. Migraines. Tragic.

So, on to business…

If you would like to order holiday cards or photos intended for holiday gifts, the deadline is November 30th. Anything ordered before November 30th will be delivered by December 21st. Any orders placed after November 30th will be delivered after January 1st, unless a 50% rush charge is applied.

If you would like to schedule a session in time for the holidays, please contact me asap, as I only have a couple openings left.

Here’s the birthday boy…

stylin’

October 22nd, 2008

This has to be the hippest little one year old I have met. Not only did she have orange boots, stripey tights and a gorgeous knit dress, she had a traditional Korean Hambok, which is worn to celebrate the first birthday. How cool is that! And then she comes out in her holiday dress, all wrapped in fluffy white goodness. Yummer! Of course she was a’walkin and a’talking the whole time…

We took these photos right in their front yard - they live in some fabulous condos right on the river in St. Paul. This was probably one of the last warm days of fall - fantastic sun. OK, I know mom is chomping at the bit to see her photos, so here you go!

goldilocks

October 19th, 2008

ok, so technically it is past midnight as I’m posting this, but I figure I haven’t yet gone to bed tonight, so that still qualifies as today. Right??? This is the final mini-session posting, and what a way to go out - with this blond beauty!

I’ve been photographing this little sprite since shortly after she was born, and she just gets sweeter each time I see her. Course she wasn’t too interested in having her picture taken - she just wanted to run! Right into the street when she caught on that her daddy had snuck away! Can you believe her long locks? Scrumptious!

until next time…

all I want for Christmas…

October 17th, 2008

is my two front teeth. I LOVE photos of kids with missing teeth!!! Both of these sisters have nice big gaping holes right now, and they’ve got the biggest, most beautiful smiles. And smile they did!!! Thanks for a fun mini-session!

The kids are off school right now, and while Elliott naps, I’ve bribed Ollie and Bea with the best ammunition I have. They’re sitting in back of me playing back-to-back Weird Al videos on the laptop. Of course the geek in me just wants to sit back and watch alongside the kids… I guess Weird Al is the hottest thing right now among 8-year-old boys. Every generation must need their Weird Al fix. Rock on.

Until tomorrow - one more mini-session…
