Sweet baby Sophie came into my new studio for her newborn session, along with her big brother Brandon. I am so in love with her full head of hair - so very beautiful! Welcome, baby Sophie!
I really love all the personal items this family brought in to this newborn session... something old - the two vintage quilts - mom remembers wrapping herself up in the patchwork quilt when she was a little girl... LOVE this.
something new - the little moose hat - dad's nickname is Moose, so when they found this little hat on etsy, they knew it was perfect for the session.
the little camo diaper cover - dad served two deployments in the army national guard, so how awesome is this diaper cover. seriously.
Love when we can make sessions so very personal and special.
Little baby H was such a snuggler, so very sweet. He loved having his hands right up by his face. Just stole my heart right away. Mom and dad were so proud of him, and so very clearly smitten. Oh, how I love photographing first-time parents... so beautiful.
Sweet Norah, in her little red gingham shirt and jean skirt. But even sweeter than the red gingham was the antique white dress she wore at the end of the session - it used to belong to Norah's great-great-great-grandmother. So precious on her. I can't wait to meet her new little brother in a couple weeks! I just got some amaaaaaazing news this morning, and I'll blog about it soon, but if you want to get the dish early, head over to my facebook page ("like" me if you haven't already!) and read about it there!
p.s., if you missed Norah's first appearance, check it out!
I wanted to share just one image that I adore from tonight's maternity session... many more to come soon!
