Gwen’s photos of our beloved baby girl will remain treasured keepsakes in our family for a lifetime. Her lens captured the ethereal as well as the tangible, and as a result we have beautiful displays of the spirit, personality, and milestones of our eight month old in every photo. Imagine a child engrossed, examining a blade of grass in her tiny palm, or arms raised in flight on the hardwood floor days before crawling for the first time. Imagine her chubby little finger in her mouth revealing two new teeth as if on cue, and her sweet round face pressed to mine in a playful cuddle. Each photo is so intimate and so unmistakenly “our girl,” it’s as if Gwen had known her since birth. (She had never met her, or us.) Gwen has a gift, and I highly recommend you seek her out if you want to capture the soul of your children on film. She has a way of seeing and then reflecting who they really are, not just the “photo poses” you so often see. My sons (ages 13 and 10) had a great time during their session, and it shows in the shots. I had trouble choosing which proofs to print because so many were so good! Gwen made everything so easy and so effortless. The boys had fun. Gwen captured that little devilish look my son sometimes gets (age four) and captured the quiet reflections of my more pensive son (age seven).
