I’ve been photographing this lovely family for several years now, and I’m so happy for their new arrival! Meet their newest little baby girl! I had the honor of meeting her when she was just seven days old. Congratulations – she’s beautiful!

Things I love about this family…

1. Nio’s endless search for woodchips
2. Isa’s rainbows
3. Their lovely backyard
4. The kids’ wide eyes when Mom brought out the lollipops
5. Nio’s constant spitting (adorable!)
6. Isa’s giggles
7. Mom’s gorgeous smile
8. Dad’s playfulness with the kids
9. The whole family’s energy, spunk, and beauty

Thanks for welcoming me to your home and spending a beautiful summer evening with me!

Sofie and Finn’s mom was worried that the kids were being uncooperative. Now is this the look of uncooperative kids?

Thanks for meeting me at the beach for this lovely evening session. I had a fabulous time, and I think the kids did too!

new website! :: minneapolis family photographer

I’ve been working quite a bit over the past few weeks on my website – I’m moving to just one site, rather than having the blog and the website portfolio gallery separate. So this is it! When you hit www.gwendolynwaite.com you’ll come to a landing page which looks like this, rather than a splash page where you choose between the blog and the site. I think this is cleaner, easier to navigate, and far simpler. All of my portfolio galleries can be viewed by clicking on the link above in the brown navigation bar named “galleries” (pretty straightforward, huh! I’m all about making it easy!)

Take a look around and let me know what you think. Hope you like it too!

Here’s a photo I shot recently of a Japanese Maple Tree (I think!) – enjoy.
